Handmade Copper Tile Mosaic Accent Border 4"x12"

Bring the deep warmth and dramatic character of aged copper into your space with these handmade copper tiles. Each copper sheet is put through our unique alchemical patina process using carefully curated organic compounds, heat, time, and hand-applied techniques to transform the copper surface, creating rich combinations of color, copper, and stunning patterns of oxidation.

This is a limited-edition and carefully selected mix of different patinas and tiles we assemble by hand here at our studio manufacturing warehouse. Quantities are limited to what we have in stock, and once we sell out, they will no longer be available, so get them while you can!

There are 4 different mosaic tile configurations within this line of accent borders, to ensure repeating patterns will not interrupt the final look of your installation. Borders are shipped evenly pre-mixed and numbered 1-4 on the back for your convenience!

The handcrafted patina develops differently across every tile, producing natural variations in color, texture, and pattern. No two pieces are exactly alike. When installed together, these variations create a dramatic surface with the depth and movement of naturally weathered copper.

Each tile is hand-hammered smooth around the edges, giving the piece a subtly worked, artisan finish. Finally, the surface and edges are sealed with a clear epoxy coating, preserving the patina underneath and giving it a durable, finished surface while enhancing the copper, bronze, amber, and deep brown coloration underneath.

The standard, modular tile format makes these tiles easy to incorporate into both traditional and contemporary designs, while the genuine copper-plated finish gives them a distinctive industrial, rustic, and artistic character. No special tools or materials are needed for installation, as they can be cut and installed in the same fashion as traditional ceramic and porcelain tile. We do recommend using unsanded grout and cleaning with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge.
